Emails to legislators suck eggs. They don’t see them, don’t
believe them, and generally their staff deletes them.
Faxes are okay, but the VERY BEST is to send hard copy
letters or call on the phone. Hard copy letters are best.

Subject: Help needed on H.R. 2239
-->
We have only about a week
and a half to convince Congress to pass H.R.2239, the bill that
would ensure a voter-verifiable paper trail on all election equipment in the
U.S.
This is an urgent and immediate need. We need to keep the phone calls, faxes, and emails
flooding into the Capitol on behalf of H.R. 2239. Please
use your contacts to get in touch with as
many people as you can and ask
them to call at least five members of the House today. Then contact all your interested
friends and family and any other groups you are associated
with. Get them involved in calling -- not just their own Representative and
Senators, but as many as they are willing to, from other states
as well as their own.
Think creatively about other groups you can get interested. Time is of the essence. We may only
have another week or so to convince Congress to pass this
bill.
