quick response

Hey Joe and all other list members,

I think the outline looks great. 10 minutes is a fairly short time period to
make our position known and maybe be able to respond to commissioners'
questions.

I remember that Donna & Liz were interested in taking action on the petition
idea, but I haven't heard anything from either of them on or off the list on
that topic.

I heard from Clay Evans today (he's just returned from 2 week vacation) as he
was concerned that nothing moved with the Editorial Board while he was gone. I
believe he will be the push we need to get in with them this week or next if
they're still interested.

I am planning to contact Richard Valenty of the Daily today to make sure he
knows about the Thursday meeting.

If other people are interested in contacting the local media to inform them:

1. about the Thursday meeting with the commissioners
2. that Linda Salas' committee will be making the recommendation for a Boulder
County voting system purchase to the County Commissioners by mid-December

Please do so...

Please let everyone know if there is additonal info that we should be sharing
with the press...see you on Thursday if not tomorrow, laura.
