Paper vs. Digital Ballots?

Paper ballots - for secure, accurate and reliable elections

 

The Boulder County Commissioners are about to decide how voters will cast their votes in 2004.

 

Citizens for Verifiable Voting is working to unite Boulder County political party support for paper ballots -- to ensure secure, accurate and reliable elections.

 

Equipment vendors are pushing digital ballots -- to reduce administrative work effort.

 

Boulder County has solicited bids for digital-ballot voting equipment, and plans to make a December decision. 

 

The people want paper ballots.  Citizens for Verifiable Voting is scheduled to present the case for paper ballots before the Boulder County Commissioners at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday the 4th.

 

Boulder County’s decision will influence Colorado’s selection of voting equipment for the 2004 election.
