Citizens, please come to the meeting today – Thursday, December 4th, 10:30 a.m. at the Boulder County Commissioners -- County building, downtown on Pearl Street.

The County is taking the position that they must not use their current equipment. We agree. The County wants to purchase equipment now – to satisfy the vendors. We disagree.
The responsible approach is to use voter verifiable hand-marked paper ballots, centrally counted, for the 2004 election. We must not be forced to tolerate another failure of voter confidence, as we did in 2000.
Paper ballots are secure, accurate and reliable.
