Rocky Mtn News: Boulder County decides against electronic vote

"Boulder County decides against electronic vote"

CVV got no mention of our role in the Clerk's decision, and Berny seems to overlook many of our concerns this time, focusing instead on the assertions of Salas and the SoS that somehow this is about "Hacking"...

I cc'd Bernie on this, please contact us if you get a chance to do a more detailed and in-depth story that makes it past your editors! ;-)

Bernie - We're a lot less afraid of someone tampering with one of these systems by using a modem or the internet than by someone who is employed by one of the vendors or a County Clerk's office sitting at the console "doing their job" and manipulating results in an undetectable manner.

Also, there are serious concerns and allegations about the "E Pollbook" provisions of HAVA that have nothing to do with Hacking whatsoever.

DO NOT BE MISLED by Donnetta Davidson, the Clerks or vendors, Citizens have substantial concerns about Electronic Voting that the "status quo" elections people do not seem to acknowledge or fully comprehend, and "hacking" is only one small element of those concerns.

Please feel free to contact me or our group if you ever need more information. THANK YOU for being there!
