RE: CO Election Reform Legislative Action

I am willing to chair a Legislative Advisory Subcommittee for the following

In the interest of full disclosure, I must admit that I have communicated TO
Rep. Alice Madden, but not WITH her; I suspect that my not being a Boulder
constituent might have something to do with it. We should be able to expect
more responsive engagement if she is addressed by a coordinated group.

The Resolution, sponsored by Sen. Moe Keller, has gone through a couple
revisions already and a draft is in her legislative aide's hands; I will
post it to the Legislative section of our forum right ... NOW.

Ah-HAH! The "VoteHere!" link on that page is a Forum Poll, where you can
choose one of four dates, Dec. 15, 18, 22, or 23, 6:30-9:00PM, for the first
meeting of the Legislative Advisory Subcommittee. MY PREFERENCE, if I may
sound a note of lobbying here, would be "as soon as possible, but no
sooner," with the caveat that Monday the 15th gives us about zero weekday
time to muster attention from our legislators; therefore I urge you that
might attend to vote for the 18th.
