Season's Greetings and here is some developing news from CVI: There will be three upcoming events for anyone interested in attending, sponsored by Coloradoans for Voting Integrity (CVI). Thursday, December 18th there will be a first meeting of the CVI Legislative Committee. This group will identify, prioritize and strategize which issues to focus upon in the next Colorado legislative session. The meeting takes place at the CVI Headquarters, at 2801 Youngfield, Ste. 300, at 6:30 p.m. Please RSVP to this e-mail or on our message line, at 303-231-1031 if you are interested in attending, or simply show up. This committee is headed by Pete Klammer, and we have invited a couple of state legislators to attend as well. Sunday, December 21st there will be a first meeting of the CVI Board, from 1-3 p.m. This group will flesh out its action plan for 2004, selecting from the attached agenda and any other ideas which arise. This meeting is open to any interested citizens, however please also indicate if you are attending so we may plan for space. This meeting occurs also at the CVI HQ at 2801 Youngfield, in Ste 360. Tuesday, January 13th will be our 3rd general meeting, which now coincides with the national "Meet-up" on Election Reform. This meeting will occur in the downtown Denver area. We are trying for the Old Spaghetti Factory as our location, and will let you know more later about this (18th & Arapahoe in Lower Downtown area). This will be at 7 p.m. I have attached two documents for your consideration. As a group committed to transparent elections, we hope to live up to that transparency in our meetings as well. We look forward to hearing from you on any feedback or suggestions you may have on these topics, and encourage you to register on our website and participate in our forums so we may gain from your perspective.
