Community Television (CCTV, cable channel 54) is the
Public Access Community TV station for differently. We wanted to let you know about a
special event that we
are having the night after election night. We think this is
a unique event for great
opportunity for people to get together.
There will be a Post Election Open House and Community Television Celebration at the CCTV studio on Wednesday night, Nov. 3 from The proceedings will be broadcast live on cable channel 54. The purpose is to allow people to comment on election happenings, whatever those might turn out to be, as well as get acquainted with other people interested in public access. We will
be providing some refreshments and people are encouraged to bring their own as well.
People can drop into the studio and comment live on the air. We
hope to have a phone set up so that we can do call-ins as well.
We will also be trying out drive-in comments. This is a new innovation from those dedicated gnomes down in the CCTV Research Department! We will have a setup to allow people to drive by the front door
of the studio and comment live on the air from the privacy and comfort of their own vehicle.
