You may have read in the paper about the problems counting ballots at
the Clerk's office. The Boulder County Democrats have just been asked
to find a large number of volunteers to help with this effort.

For each shift, we need to have 8-10 people ready at the Clerk's
office on 33rd street to validate ballots which the machines can't
confirm. Each validation requires one Democrat and one Republican, so
it is important that we have Democrats available, although you may not
be working throughout the whole shift. There are three shifts open
every day from now through Tuesday (including the weekend).

We especially need people who have done this before to avoid training
time but everyone is welcome. The work is tedious but easy and
urgently needed. You must be a registered Democrat.

PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO clerkhelp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
INCLUDE IN YOUR EMAIL:
- your name as it appears in your voter registration
- your date of birth to speed up the process of verifying registration
- your email address
- your phone number (and cell number if you have one)
- EACH of the shifts you can work (see below)

We will get back to you with a email confirming which shift we are
expecting you. If you have to cancel please send another email. If
we make great progress and don't need you, we will send you an email
and let you know.
