COME HEAR
DOUG VAUGHAN, ERNESTO VIGIL, KIM COHEN and ROB PRINCE
discuss the future of liberal and progessive movements
in the U.S. in the wake of the 2004 presidential selection.
BLACK BOX ELECTRONIC VOTE THEFT will be one of the
Topics of discussion. The moderator
will be MARK SWEITZER.
 
Kim Cohen is a political activist and was a delegate to the 2004 national Democratic presidential convention. She believes strongly that progressives  can and should have a meaningful voice in the Democratic party.

Rob Prince is a University professor and a long time political activist. He is the editor and main contributor to The Colorado Progressive Jewish News.

Ernesto Vigil is a political activist ,teacher, historian and a leader in the Chicano movement. He is author of The Crusadefor Justice:Chicano Militancy and the Government's War on Dissent. He is currently writing a book about the political surveillance practices of the F.B.I and Denver Police.

Dough Vaughan is a long time political activist and a investigative reporter whose work has appeared in leading publications in  the U.S., Europe and Latin America. He has also been featured in several award winning documentary films.

 Mark Sweitzer is a Boulder-based political and social activist. He's the founder and facilitator of the Progressive Cafes, held weekly throughout the Denver metro area. As well as being one of the founders of the Colorado Communities for Justice and Peace and the Boulder Coop Market, he helps organize campaigns with the Colorado Green Party, and teaches seminars on building a progressive social movement in the U.S.
