verified voting legislation and govtrack.us
I just ran across govtrack.us - an excellent and very important, free,
non-profit site that allows citizens to observe and track the Congress.
It's much easier to use than the official THOMAS site, integrated with
other databases, extensively cross-referenced, etc.
And it allows you to track the legislation, or legislators, that
you're interested in, via email updates, RSS, etc.!

I then ran across information on some verified voting legislation.
The previous bills (Holt's HR 2239 etc.) have expired, but many
are being re-introduced. For more info:

This web page summarizes legislation on the verified voting issue,
including requirements for a voter-verifiable paper audit trail. If
you have updates or corrections on verified voting legislation,
please let us know. Thank you!
