RE: Are we asking people to boycott the City election?
While I can't really support the idea of using the committee's time to
attack the city for using the county's flawed system for the city election -
I also can't see a better time and place to get the kind of press that this
boycott movement needs.
I'll do my best to restrain myself from interfering with your plans and keep
the committee on track. However, I am one tenth of the committee. I doubt
that you'll get a positive reception from the rest of the committee. You may
find yourselves being squelched by the ERC chair for being off-topic. Be
prepared for that.

I've been wondering what to do about this, too. I've heard to expect
that as many as half of the ballots might be returned right away, that
is, probably this week. Now is the time to get information and opinions
to those voters.
Independent of the March 8th election, you might also want to e-mail
those 140 folks and tell them to attend the public hearing of the
Election Review Committee this coming Thursday evening, please!
