Margit:
I think we are making a good case for VVPBs (Voter Verified Paper Ballots), especially when compared to the “scroll” option currently provided by the “Big Three” (Sequoia, Diebold, and ES&S). How else can we better state our objections to the “scroll” option (or VVPAT – Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail)?
Strategically, (or is that “Strategery”? J ), wouldn’t it be better to apply pressure on our Reps and Sens via emails and calls NOW while we still have a window of opportunity?
Does anyone really know when the bill will leave committee? Or how much time we have before it is too late to make changes?
I am inclined to move on this revision of SB079 right away; please explain in greater detail why we shouldn’t.
Sincerely,
Michael David Melio Jefferson County, CO.

We need to make a strong case FOR VVPB's. We need to ask for revisions to protect the usefulness of voter-verification. Since the bill still needs to go before the House, give them a chance to make the changes before then. Since the SOS and parts of the disabled community do not appear to genuinely support VVPB's, we need to. Margit |
