Election Review Committee will present findings to commissioners June 13

The nine-member Election Review Committee will present its
findings to the Boulder County Commissioners at a public meeting at 7 p.m.
Monday, June 13 in the commissioners' hearing room, third floor, in the
Boulder County Courthouse, 14th and Pearl Streets, in Boulder.

The committee was formed in December 2004 to review the general
election process in its entirety to find ways to remedy the ballot counting
problems that caused final results from the November election to be three
days late.

Meeting almost every week for about four hours since January,
the committee heard dozens of hours of testimony in its effort to understand
why the ballots took so long to count and how the process can be speeded up
in the future.
