RE: Daily Camera Dead

Paul, Joe's piece was an op-ed, not a letter, and it IS online at:

http://www.dailycamera.com/bdc/guest_opinions/article/0,1713,BDC_2493_4355914,00.html

I didn't send my letter to the Camera because I had another letter 12/9 and they only allow 1/month.

Kewl - and good for Joe.

Joe's letter only appeared in the print version. I haven't seen any letters
in the online represention of the DC. Not since November of 2005. if you
live outside of Boulder you won't know what's happening unless you get this
paper.
This harken's back to the business about the illegal land mergers that the
county ended up losing seven lawsuits over. The Camera did some small
reporting of it, but none were published on line. When land owners who lived
elsewhere came to town they were surprised that this had all been going on
for years, remaking that they'd never read about it in the DC online.
Evidently this publisher doesn't want outsiders to know that Boulder has
serious problems. It is all so rosy and wonderful in Boulder, please come
and spend your tourist dollars here.

I wonder of any of the folks here have been paying attention to the cry of
fraud in the Iraqi elections. Most people seem to think that was a paper
ballot, but I saw coverage showing DRE.

Joe P. got published on the op-ed page today. Perhaps the neo-cons believe
that his piece will encourage action to liberate Boulder as has been done
to Iraq ;-)
