Hi Ron,
WOW, this just gets deeper and deeper...I am copying Chuck Corry to
get his input on the issue...I wonder if the clerks office can prove
that the trays weren't delivered until after election...if not, I
would think that the Secretary of State must take action on the
issue.
It would seem that all candidates effected by Adams Co vote should
be challenging this error, no matter who is at fault..but certainly
one more reason that voting in a voting booth is the safest way to
insure voting integrity.
Hope you can get somewhere with this mess.

Dear Sheryle,
I called Carol Snyder the clerk for Adams country (she was very nice
on the phone)and she stated that there were 6 trays of mail
delivered 2 weeks after the election from the post office. In those
6 trays, were undeliverable ballots, ballots with wrong addresses
and ballots post marked from 2 weeks prior to the election.
She stated that becuase they received these ballots after the
election, that by law, they cannot be counted. She stated that we
should contact the post office to see why these ballots were delived
to her office that late with such an early post mark. So it would
appear that there is a problem in the post offices in Adams county,
and not the clerks office or the election commission.
She also stated that they even mailed ballots directly from her
office to people in the same city, and it took 2 weeks for these
people to get their ballots. Again, another problem with the post
office.
If people get their bills etc in a timely manner from all over the
country, how then does it take over 2 weeks to send mail and receive
mail in the same county?
I wonder how we can address this with the post office?

Dear Ron,
See below the message that I received from Chuck Corry - EJF (Equal
Justice Foundation) Chuck is a very reliable source and so unless
the clerk got her information wrong it is most certainly true. If
you care to follow up, I am sure that he can get further information.

Sheryle,
At a county commission hearing here last Thursday our county
clerk mentioned that in Adams County last November two weeks after
the election 6 trays of uncounted mail ballots turned up with
postmark dates of October 20-21. Gives me real confidence.

Dear Sheryl,
Can you fill me in as to the Boxes of ballots that were found in Adams county?
Wayne M. at the State Election Commison and Carol Snyder states that
all the ballots that should have been counted were counted and all
the ballots they were not to count were not counted.

Dear Pat,
I got a call last night from Francis Maks (he was running for At Large),
stating that Adams county just found a couple of boxes with at least 250
ballots in each box.
Please call me on my cell phone.
