Come and meet your legislators and see them in action.

Join us on Friday, February 24th at the state capitol for our legislative day. You will have the opportunity to hear from and talk to state legislators; observe and learn about the legislative process; and get an up to the minute briefing on Common Cause's agenda - including lobby reforms, election reform and money in politics issues.

7:30 - 8:00 Breakfast (Meet at the Capitol)

8:00 - 9:00 Overview of legislative Process, Meet Legislators

9:00 - 9:45 Observe the opening of session and floor action at the Senate or House Gallery
10:00 - 11:00 Issues Workshop (Location: 1st Baptist Church (corner of 14th and Grant))
11:15 - 12:00 Citizen Lobby Training
12:00 - 1:15 Lunch with Legislators (panel discussion on legislator perspective)
