push for precinct voting?

Hi All,

This quote came from the end of Richard Valenty's article in the Monday 
Colorado Daily:

"Liss said he couldn't reveal the lease cost per DRE until a bid has 
been rewarded.

Also, he said the county has not yet officially decided whether to use 
about 230 precinct polling places or roughly 40-50 regional vote centers 
in the 2006 election, but should decide in the next several days."

It seems that we should weigh in with the Clerk's office, the parties, 
and the media about precincts. Any ideas on this?
