Here's a chance to strike a blow for honest elections in America.

My name is Clint Curtis and I am running for Congress in Florida's 24th
District. I need your help in the effort to restore the credibility in
our elections.

For those not familiar with my story, I am a computer programmer who
testified to Congress that I had been requested by Tom Feeney, an
elected US official, to build a software program that could flip the
votes in an electronic voting machine without detection. This "computer
hack" would allow a person or political party to secretly control that
machine, thereby deciding the winner, regardless of the actual votes
cast.

Much more is at stake than a single Florida House seat.

Until credibility in our elections is restored, we cannot begin to forge
solutions to such issues as the War in Iraq, providing healthcare for
all Americans, investing in energy independence, instituting an
educational system that allows teacher to teach students rather than
tests, and above all, being confident that our government is being run
by officials who have been elected by the people.

Although this is a local race, these issues are of national importance.
My Clint Curtis for Congress team is a grassroots effort of people
around the country who share my commitment to protecting our
constitution, our right to vote and our democracy.

You can help remove the core of the DC Culture of Corruption.

I am running against Republican Tom Feeney, a Bush insider whose depth
of corruption runs deep. It was Feeney who promised to "Bring in
Florida" for Bush in 2000 by having the Florida legislature circumvent
voters if the Supreme Court failed to stop the vote counting. Feeney's
hand-designed 24th initially enabled a winning seat, but his re-election
is by no means assured. The Orlando Sentinel recently suggested that he
is "running scared." The Miami Herald mentioned him on 5/13 in
"Democrats Lick Chops, See GOP Weak".

Not surprising, Feeney was named one of the "13 Most Corrupt Members of
Congress" by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington
(CREW). Although very well funded, he can no longer count on help from
some of his past supporters:

*	$10,000 from Tom DeLay's ARMPAC
	DeLay resigns Congress in June, after being indicted on charges
of money laundering and conspiracy.


*	$5,000 from Ex-Congressman Duke Cunningham's PAC
	Cunningham is serving jail time after confessing to tax evasion
and conspiring to pocket $2.4 million in bribes.


*	$1,000 from convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff
	Soon to be jailed Abramoff was found guilty of conspiracy to
defraud the United States and wire fraud.


*	$1,500 from convicted former DeLay staffer Tony Rudy
	who is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty for conspiracy.

We need volunteers and we need funds.

I am running for Congress because I believe that true democracy
guarantees every American that their vote will count and that we can no
longer risk having our elections manipulated through non-secure
electronic voting machines.

We cannot reward corruption with re-election. Demanding accountability
in elected officials isn't about left or right, or Democratic and
Republican, but about right and wrong.
