RE: Denver: DRE hearing starts Wednesday morning - Doug Jones and Dave Wallach

Was any thought given to inviting Harry Hursti of Black Box Voting, who was able to successfully demonstrate the hacking into of a Diebold machine in other states?

Experts coming to town to testyify for us! See below.

This hearing will be among the more interesting local voting-related
judicial events of recent history.

Claudia, any idea what the likely timing will be of various elements
of the trial?

See also Joel's message about Diebold demos on Friday.

Thanks,

Another good place to show up this week is the hearing on whether or not the DRE's will be decertified for use in November. For those who want to attend all or part of the hearing it begins at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, Sept. 20 and continues on Sept. 21 in the Division I court room which is on the
second floor of the Denver City and County Bldg. The judge's name is
Manzanares. Hope to see many of you there. Plaintiff experts are Doug
Jones from University of Iowa and Dan Wallach from Rice who are two of the
leading voting machine experts in the United States.
