Re: Fwd: Fw: CO state worker sells voter data to GOP, Sec. of State investigating

It sure should be illegal.  This fellow should not only lose his job but be "tagged" for any future employers in this field.

Seems we need better tracking/screening of elections workers and we need to institute a balance of Democrats and Republicans in any vote-sensitive jobs/contracts.

I notice that the Deputy Secretary of State Hobbs directed that Kopelman take down his site immediately. But with a person of Kopelman's morals, at the very least,
Hobbs should make Kopelman sign a statement saying that the Elections Technology Manager hadn't sold or given access to anyone. Also, the people of Colorado would best be served if the appropriate law enforcement people investigated his site purge and any possible "offshoots" to ensure that no information leaked elsewhere.

Oh my god.

Does anyone know if what Kopelman is doing is illegal? I certainly looks
unethical.
