Recorder looks to hire Elections Coordinator
Boulder County Elections Coordinator Josh Liss has accepted a position
in Jefferson County, and will leave the Boulder County elections division on
Thursday, May 17. Liss has been appointed by Jefferson County Clerk Pam Anderson as her
Deputy Clerk and Recorder in charge of Elections, and will begin his work in
Jefferson County on May 21. "I've truly enjoyed working for the citizens of Boulder County
over the past two years and I am proud of what we have accomplished in that
time," Liss said. "This position in Jefferson County will allow me
to work closer to home, in my home county, and it was an opportunity I simply
could not pass up." Boulder County Clerk and Recorder Hillary Hall said the County is
looking to fill the position as soon as possible to ensure the next Elections
Coordinator is in place prior to the November 2007 election. "The deputy position is a great opportunity for Josh and we wish
him all the best." Hall said. "Our job now is to find the best
candidate in as timely a manner as we can. We are looking for someone with
strong experience in management, both with people and processes, and
elections." For more information about the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder,
