Hi Margit et al.,
How 'bout that HB08-1155?  It went thru some hoops rather quickly, it seems to me.  I heard on the radio (KGNU?) that it was supposed to include PUBLIC observation of DRE testing at the County Clerk level, but I see nothing in the PDF's online to that effect, just "experts".

Subject: CORRECTION: SB08-040 on Online Voter Registration goes to committee Wed

 Hi All,
As Harvie has pointed out, Gordon's bill "Concerning Online Voter Registration" is scheduled to come up before the Senate State...Affairs Committee Wed, Jan 23rd at 1:30, NOT
the 21st, as I wrote earlier.
Margit
PS  Apologies if this is a duplicate notice; Harvie sent the correct schedule to a Colorado Voter list; I don't know who is on it, plus can't respond to it.

Gordon's bill "Concerning Online Voter Registration" is scheduled to come up before the Senate St, Vet and Milt Affairs Committee Monday, Jan 21st, at 1:30PM.  It's "concerning" me.  I've asked some security experts to comment on it, and hope to hear back before Monday; I'm assuming online registration to be insecure, posing risks of identity theft and fraud.

Comments?
