22nd - 7pm: Hall & Longmont Council

On the Longmont council agenda for tomorrow night is a presentation by Hillary Hall concerning use of the Ballot Now system for the 29th special election.

She is shown as #11 in general business, however our council mixes up the agenda when they start.
All meetings begin with Public-Invited-to-be-Heard. People who sign up have 3 mins to say something useful.
As Hillary is in the general business category, and not a reading for an ordinance, there might not be a comment period associated with her presentation. Although council is aware there is an opposing view, the best time to start the ball rolling is with PIH.

7pm is when the meeting starts, be there at least 10 mins before to sign up to speak.

The council is completely aware of this issue, however this is a live televised meeting which gets a fair amount of viewing and will be repeated on Thursday. If you can use your 3 mins to play the voter confidence card, this would be the stage to do it on.

My goal is to hand tally the ballots. The city clerk has been supportive, if anything as a method to test the Hart system. Please try not to waste too much effort on the jaded history of Hart and this system. You're not talking to foreigners, but county residents who vote. They know. Let's just present a viable and CHEAP alternative. A first step.
