1.What's happening with the paper ballots in Palm Beach:

2. Rove in Colorado:

An article by Lynn Bartels, Rky Mt. News (carried in B. Daily Camera), quoted Karl Rove speaking to the CO Rep. delegation: "Colorado is one of the two or three most important states in this contest".  If he says so, it's time to get busy with election protection activities.

(I'm still reading it.)

2.  Read the end of the new report by Ellen Thiesen: "Vendors are Undermining the Structure of U.S. Elections", available at VotersUnite.Org.  Pages 50-54 give "Recommendations for Reversing the Direction in 2008 and Beyond".

2.. Read Steven Rosenfeld's "Count My Vote: A Citizen's Guide to Voting", Alternet Books.   I got a free copy at the media luncheon organized by Joe Richey and co-hosted by CFVI.  There may be a few more free copies available.  (Joe?)  (I'm still reading this book also.)
