Re: Video the Vote Training Session Sunday, central Denver

Hi All,
Video the Vote has a training session Sunday, Nov.2nd, 2-4 PM at Denver Central Presbyterian Church, 1660 Sherman Street, in basement.
See attachment for flyer on this. (Hopefully, questions about where you can be to video will be answered then.)
If you know people with camcorders and time on election day, please tell them about Video the Vote.  Also, if you have nothing else to do (ha ha), you could post a flyer in some college or hs media dept, political science dept etc etc.
I haven't heard of any training sessions outside of Denver yet; in any case, there is a number to call on this flyer for more information.
Thanks.

Yes, camcorders must be outside, unless you have credentials as press, and then there are procedures to be followed.  Boulder County has told me it is okay for camcorders to be outside, but inside the 100 foot limit for electioneering.  Video the Vote is nonpartisan.  However, I suspect that Video the Vote might have to negotiate with the County Clerk in any county they are in as to how close camcorders can be to the polling place (and still be outside).
