Re: Judd Choate

Title: Re: Judd Choate
Hi Chuck,

No arguments from me. I just think all four (soon to be three) voting machine vendors are suspect. We should add Sequoia to the list being developed here.

Best,
Mary

What about Hart? In Colorado, lots of counties use Hart.

CO Director of Elections Judd Choate called this morning to see if I could meet with him on Friday. I said sure.

If some time today or tomorrow you could send me your three top concerns to bring forward to him, that would be great.

Joe Richey, VP-CFVI

1. Voter registration database and converting it to an actual relational database system

2. Transparency of ballot counting and testing - gross lack thereof

3. Diebold/Premier and ES&S monopoly

Mary,
Joe asked for my top three concerns. We don't use Hart in El Paso County so it doesn't rank in my top three. I'm sure it would in Al's, Harvie's, yours, Margit's, and others, however.
I would note that if the voter registration database was corrected and election transparency made a priority that most all of our elections concerns would be greatly diminished.
