mail ballot bill HB1131 coming to House Committee this Thursday, Feb. 10, "upon adjournment"
Hi All,
Some of you know about the huge bill for all-mail elections (HB1131) coming to House State...Affairs Committee this Thursday
after the entire House meets (usually 9 or 9:30). It is close to 90 pages long, and many changes are routine, related
to going to a state with entirely mail (except for service centers). The main sponsor is Carole Murray.
Some of you have expert knowledge of this subject. If you want to testify, that would be nice.
ALSO, tomorrow (Monday), at 1:30, the Senate State...Affairs committee takes up a much shorter bill (SB11-057) which,
if I read it correctly, increases the ways voters in Special Districts can elect to vote by mail.
