RE: overweight ballots
Clarification: You cannot register to vote via the web. You can get a copy
of the registration form via the web (as a PDF), print it out, fill it in,
and then send it in via mail, but you cannot register to vote on-line. A
signature is required, and you cannot do that on-line.

Now that voter registration may be done by mail and on the web, and photo
i.d.
is required, folks who register that way, not in person, are required to
include photocopy of i.d. when they return the completed ballot.
This time that put the weight over one ounce, as the envelope containing
ballot
alone, at least for voters in the city of Boulder, was about an ounce.
