Greetings BCV List:

The "public response" we sent out to the County's announcement about 
the Purchase Decision was based on an intensive weekend of work, and 
I'd like to take a moment to thank the folks who put in so much effort 
to get it done.

Please accept my HUGE THANK YOU!!! to:

Paul Walmsley and Kel Carey who wrote and rewrote the draft, and made 
extensive revisions based on assorted comments
Neal McBurnett who provided extensive draft rewriting feedback on how 
to include some of our group's issues
Margit Johanssen who attended the Sunday afternoon session and 
contributed to the overall framing of the letter as well as insightful 
feedback on positions
and Al Kolwicz who not only hosted our weekend meetings (and thanks to 
his wife for the hospitality), he was also instrumental in helping us 
identify a number of problems with the apparent recommendation to 
purchase a system.

While I attended the meetings and signed it as our spokesperson, I want 
our group to know that the folks above truly deserve all the credit for 
the letter.

Please join me in thanking these dedicated volunteers for their 
tireless efforts to preserve our Democracy.
