Where: University Memorial Center (UMC) on CU Boulder Campus, Broadway & Euclid, Room 247
What: Review voting system requirements. Discuss the Boulder County Election Division?s recommendation to purchase a Hart InterCivic voting system.
Why: Boulder County?s most important voting system decision in a generation is impending. We need to understand the facts and options. We need to take a position and prepare for the rapidly approaching January 29th Public Hearing, where the Boulder County Clerk will recommend the Hart InterCivic system.

1) We successfully won the right to vote using full-text voter-verifiable paper ballots. 5 minutes
2) What does our preferred voting system look like? ? 20 minutes
3) What do we know about the election division?s recommendation? -- 30 minutes
4) Discussion - Key issues on which to focus for the January 29th public meeting. ? 30 minutes
a) lease vs. purchase
b) role of hand counting
c) software disclosure
d) ?
5) Process ? Reconfirm Joe as spokesperson. Appointment of steering, media, etc. committees. 10 minutes
6) Action plan -- suggestions and volunteers. Letters. Attend hearing. Recruit attendees and members. Etc. 15 minutes
