Re: Public Meeting Announcement !!! Bring At Least One New Friend!!!
Hi,
I would suggest a few changes in the agenda.
1. The discussion of the "preferred voting system," agenda item #2, should
take place at the very end of this meeting, not at the beginning. Based
on discussion on this list, it seems that different people have
significantly different ideas of what their preferred voting system would
be. Also, given our time constraints, discussing it is less important
than addressing the immediate issues of the Clerk's recommendation and CVV
process.
2. The "Process" agenda item, #5, should start out with a discussion.
This is something that must proceed on a consensus basis, similar to our
process at the meeting at the Boulder Mennonite Church. Hopefully, people
who are interested in the "process" issue will be able to put forth some
ideas or basic proposals on this list so we can think about them ahead of
time.
thoughts?
