CVV members – HB 1227 is the big monster. It was
heard yesterday in the house committee, and Rep. Schultheis succeeded in
getting the bill laid over. It will be picked up again - probably Tuesday
or Thursday. The bill was written by the Secretary of
State and is sponsored by Rep. Sinclair – the chairman of the
committee. (Tact required.) It is a big bill – 37 pages. Will you review the bill and let me know
your recommendations? I’d like to feed these comments to friends on
