HB1227: How would a stolen election affect YOU?

Dear Honorable Senator:

Tomorrow (Thursday) you are about to vote on a very important bill that will
not only affect the citizens of Colorado but also your own political career.

HB1227 will make it infinitely easier for elections to be stolen.  It could
be **your** Senate seat that will be stolen. You will have forfeited the
right to have a recount that actually means anything if HB1227 passes.


Three brave Senators (Senator Bruce Cairns, Senator Deanna Hanna, and
Senator Moe Keller) voted against this in committee.  I urge you - in your
own self interest! - to vote against this bill.

I beg you to preserve democracy.  Please vote against this abomination of a
bill.
