Subject: Call or e-mail the Election Assistance Commission today!

The Elections Assistance Commission is holding their first meeting today
on electronic voting. The current composition of the commission appears
to be tilted towards electronic voting, and paperless. The list of
witnesses and panelists is also tilted towards paperless electronic
voting.
It is important that the Commission know that many of us out here demand
a voting system that is not only reliable, accurate, and secure. We
demand a voting system that provides a tangible method for us to confirm
that our vote has been accurately recorded and counted, additionally be
capable of being audited recounted. Currently that means a paper ballot
that can be verified by the voter.
We also demand a testing and certification system that is transparent,
rigorous, and includes disinterested third party review by security and
computing experts. That all voting systems must meet minimum standards,
no matter if they have been certified before.

Testimony can also be submitted for the meeting today. It can be sent
