Just called Eads News here in Boulder - they carry CACM and expect to have 
the October issue in next Monday or Tuesday.  Their number is (303) 
442-5900.

Also it looks like the ACM makes the previous month's issue available 
online for free.  So if you can wait until late October, you can read it 
for free at
