RE: Tom Halicki "Retires"
Tom is a tri-athlete. He feels that his health has gone down the tubes
working for the C&R. He hasn't had any personal time in almost a year.
Running, biking, and climbing are what he wants to be doing. At least part
of the time.
This job hasn't allowed him to participate in anything healthy. It is
stressful, has long hours, and the pay sucks.
Joe, if you think that you've got what it takes to be the elections manager,
then I suggest that you apply for the position.
In fact, since you've been so critical of Tom and think that you know how
his job should be done ... I have to seriously wonder why you're not
applying for the position. I could be mistaken, because you could be
applying for it. Though I doubt that you'd be given any serious
consideration.
But you might be helpful in finding a good candidate for the position. Pick
someone you dislike.

Subject: Tom Halicki "Retires"
From today's Longmont Times Call, which says he resigned on November
18th and says he's retiring.
Does his quote finally admit that trustworthy elections in Boulder
County weren't important to him?

BOULDER - Boulder County elections manager Tom Halicki is leaving his
