RE: prune inactive topics?
Hi everyone,
Happy Annual Gift Days. Sorry for continuing this thread and distracting
from the other important work at hand with the County's RFP. I do want to
address a few of Paul Tiger's comments, so there's hopefully less
confusion.
(putting on my system administrator hat)
Paul T,
The disputed changes on November 17 were entered by me. The site's
revision history for the three pages changed that day is accurate, and
your description of the changes is not. The exact changes can be viewed
at these three links in the footnotes of this message: [1], [2], [3]. I
would be pleased to explain my rationale for these changes if you're
interested, just ask.
You write that you have third-party evidence to show that the CVV site has
been surreptitiously tampered with, in a way that does not show up on the
page revision histories. If you like, you're welcome to present that
evidence privately to me, or publicly on the mailing list. I can tell you
that as far as I can see, the page revision histories in footnotes [4],
[5], [6] are accurate.
You also write about your displeasure with the use of the Wiki for the ERC
site. In private E-mail correspondence between you, myself, Neal and Joe
in February, we offered to host the ERC documents on a separate web site,
on the ERC's own domain. [7] You would have been able to post whatever
HTML, PDF, or audio files you liked. This offer still stands, as far as
I'm concerned. As before, you need only get a domain, and request that I
set it up. Probably, several others on the list would be happy to host it
also, if you prefer.
I think I understand some of your frustration. But if you'd like to
continue this thread, maybe we can do it without putting lumps of coal in
my stockings...
ho ho ho,
- Paul
