RE: push for precinct voting?

There are no DRE in any VC that I have in mind. Paper only.

Or perhaps I missed some vital point that you were making about the security
of VC?

I am still for paper only.

Since you are a technology guru and someone influential in Boulder politics,
I pose the following question to you: How are vote centers different than
DREs?

Vote centers are subject to nearly all the abuses of DREs.

A person who carefully takes his/her (mail-in, etc.) ballot to a polling
place to make sure that "my vote is counted correctly" completely misses the
point that it doesn't matter if "your" vote is counted correctly if those in
control of the voting process can cast two votes for every one of yours.

Vote centers allow that abuse by not allowing election judges and poll
watchers to know who is voting..

I hope you change your mind about vote centers.
