Rep. Morgan Carroll's HB07-1074 re: 527 Reform

Rep. Morgan Carroll's HB07-1074 on 527 reporting requirements will be heard
tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 25th at approx noon, in the State Capitol.

This bill requires the same reporting requirements for 527s as for candidates. 
This is a significant improvement in campaign finance reform.  It is important
that citizens show up to support Rep. Carroll.  She expects significant
pushback from the lobbyists.

The hearing will be in the basement in room 112.  It would be smart to be there
a little before noon since the legislature could end at any time.

Not everyone needs to speak.  In fact all that is needed is to say, "We support
Rep. Carroll's bill."  One person can speak for a whole group.  An excess of
repetition irritates the legislators.
