I'm not particularly proficient in the language they're using, Ruby,
so I wouldn't be the best person.  If you know some Ruby hackers
looking for glory, this could be their chance - there are many Ruby
gurus in CO I'm sure.

The surest way to spoil the election would be a big distributed denial
of service attack.  But it isn't clear if that would indeed be
permitted, and depending on their network it could easily take out
lots of innocent bystanders, like the rest of DC's computer systems.
