Let's see, he was approached.  He refused to back HR2239.

Then noise was made and he became a co-sponsor.  I guess it could be
coincidence.

To make change you make noise if other tactics don't work.  Otherwise you
lose because, by definition, the other tactics did not work.

I'm all for approaching people nicely but there is a terrible lack of time
available.

Grandstanding is useful.  It gets attention.  Getting attention is what gets
people to pay attention.

So when should we grandstand?  When the machines are in and you now have
absolutely no ability to affect things?  You are a member of this group, I
suppose, because you perceive the gravity of the situation.  You understand
that DRE machines are a fundamental threat to democracy.

When do you get upset?  When you find out that 98% of the voters in Boulder
voted for the Republican Congressman and you don't have the ability to audit
the printed ballots because it is
	a) Against the law
	b) There are no printed ballots
?
