RE: HAVA in Pitkin
Paul, we will add this to a list of action items at our meeting tomorrow
night. There is also a state forum on www.blackboxvoting.org for Colorado
to which this question can be posed.

Subject: HAVA in Pitkin
This came from a politically active friend of mine in Aspen who is disabled.

Thanks for all the touch-screen voting articles. Aspen/Pitkin County has
voting machines that require a voter to fill in a space on a piece of
scannable paper. There IS a paper trail for our new system.

Since Pitkin is one of the five counties that must replace card punch
systems, I'm wondering if they have already. Can somebody look into this, or
has anyone?
