Again, if you believe the Secretary of State is providing erroneous information to legislators, then it is your right to contact legislators to rebut the information.

As you see, the conflict is with the Secretary of State, and I have met with
the Secretary of State and they refuse to correct this false information
using arguments that are outlandish.
There must be a way to get third party help in a situation like this.
We've got the accused serving as judge.

If you believe there has been an error, we suggest you contact the Secretary
of State's office with your information. Otherwise, you have the right to

The Secretary of State's office has provided what we believe to be inaccurate testimony to the Colorado legislature on a bill that was created by the SOS's office - HB04-1227.
At least one Senator, on 3/4 vote said, before voting, that he voted against
a strengthening amendment because of the SOS testimony.
We believe that the SOS should have known the accurate facts or at least explained that there were differences of opinion.
Is there any provision in the law to protect the public from public officials' providing legislators with inaccurate data when lobbying for their own bill?
The bill is due for 3rd hearing in the Senate.
