RE: Followup - posting results at precincts ?
You can't without making a special request.
Other counties are providing this information. That was the purpose of this
expedition down the path of what the hell Boulder is not doing that other
counties are doing.
People on the CFVI list were asking their comrades to go out to their
respective precincts and get the posted information; write it down; then
report back. The idea is to compare the precinct numbers to the centrally
counted numbers and see if the match.
In many counties the black-box devices are allowing polling location judges
to see what the vote count is at the close of polls (sometimes before). They
can print a tape that shows these totals and the write them on window signs
and post them before leaving their polling locations.
In other areas of the state, polling locations are hand tallying the votes
and posting them, then giving the ballots to their centrally located clerks
offices for compilation.
The point for all of this is to have a comparison of polling location totals
with centralized totals.
Every county that I called or emailed with was posting results at polling
locations and reporting totals from central counts.
EVERY COUNT EXCEPT ONE.
And the SoS thinks that Boulder can optionally follow the law.
Just like we can optionally mark ballots in such a way as to make them
traceable back to voters.
Its what sets Boulder apart from the rest of the state. We're so full of
options, and the SoS is so willing to let Boulder be the pacesetter.
Perhaps Boulder County is not actually in Colorado. 200 square miles
surrounded by reality.

So how do folks find out the respective votes cast for whomever, at each
local precinct in Boulder County ?
I just looked through the Boulder County Clerk website, and there is no
precinct information there.
Boulder County used to provide this information to us...
Do other counties provide this information ?
