RE: SVM counters

Sorry Joe - the last thee times I've seen/heard you make the SVM
presentation I didn't see or hear about currency counters. I think it is
important, because Americans in this modern age don't think that we can
count without technology.
I've already stated that I don't think that humans can accurately count
ballots (or races in our case). I think that it is important to show the
currency counters as either a backup verification or as the main method with
hand audits as the back up. My opinion, but glazed with the experiences of
the past few years in dealing with elections officials. Most of them think
that without 110VAC they can't have an election. It's going to take some
time to get them to understand that this is a fallacy. In the meantime we
could sell them on the SVM with a counter.

BTW - I wonder if anyone noted at the library presentation: Who was the
maker of the currency counter? I noticed. Fairly amusing.

Joe said : 'The method that I usually don't mention is the very rare (and
possibly no longer used) "voting by raising your sword in the public square"
method, however, which you might like even more.'

Most gunnies are aware that Swiss citizens are required to keep fully
automatic weapons in their homes after their obligatory military service.
While the sword may be a lawful way to vote, in this modern age perhaps
firing a clip into the ground (safer than into the air) might be the new
method.
It appears to be the method in the middle east (except that they fire into
the air).
