No. The operational temperature was roughly 40-100F. Storage stability is
to 150F.
That's not the problem. The problem is that thermal paper is easily damaged
when handled. Take almost any thermal paper and run your nail down it. It
will leave a mark. A little work by an unscrupulous or inexperienced
handler and the thermal paper will become unreadable.
Also, it curls like crazy. Awful stuff.

My experience with thermal paper is that it ages poorly. A few years in
even relatively controlled storage and the stuff becomes very hard to read.
Future historians are going to curse us.
