Since Colorado Springs is a noted Repub stronghold, without further 
info, the onus is on them.

There are reasons that people are bashing Republicans, Ralph:

1. The Voting machine companies we've been fighting for years are 
owned by Republicans. The head of one promised to deliver the vote to 
the Rs.

2. Abramoff, Delay, Bush, Cheney, Gonzalez and the rest of the crime 
family are Republicans. Their stated intention was a "permanent 
Republican majority." That's like the "1000-year empire" but with more 
evolved PR.

3. People don't like war, torture, debt, domestic spying and 
destroying the climate their kids will inherit.

When people are almost powerless to do anything about the above, 
they'll blow off steam with bashing the perps and their party. If 
anyone here wants power over their "reps" please consider what you you 
can do at http://Vote.org
